Xiaomi has started rolling out the HyperOS update for the Redmi Note 11 series. Based on Android 13, HyperOS brings a refreshed user interface to the Redmi Note 11 and Redmi Note 11 Pro 4G models.
Redmi Note 11 series receives HyperOS
Redmi Note 11 and Note 11 Pro 4G have been upgraded to HyperOS with build numbers OS1.0.3.0.TGCMIXM and OS1.0.3.0.TGKMIXM respectively. The update is currently available for download by users in the testing phase of the Mi Pilot program. However, it will be widely available in the coming weeks.
With HyperOS, the Redmi Note 11 family gets access to new Android 13 features such as enhanced privacy controls, security and authentication, and performance optimizations. The update also brings MIUI optimizations and changes to the appearance of the system interface.
However, this update marks the last major Android version upgrade for Redmi Note 11 models. Because they won’t get Android 14. Still, HyperOS is expected to offer significant improvements over the phones’ first version, Android 11-based MIUI 13.
The Redmi Note 11 series launched in early 2022 with the Note 11, Note 11S and Note 11 Pro models. The affordable series has been quite popular for Xiaomi. HyperOS support means that the update package is extended for another year.
